Warhammer 40K Imperium Magazine Issue 38&39 Review31st May 2022
I hope everyone is having as much fun putting together their Thermic Plasma Conduits as I have, so many different configurations to make an awesome board full of terrain, especially with the Haemotrope Reactor from a previous issue. This week let us have a look at Warhammer 40K Imperium issues 38 and 39.
Included in Issue 38 are the Magazine itself, a couple of paints and a Citadel Texture Spreader. This spreader becomes all the more useful when you realise one of the paints in this issue is the Astrogranite texture paint which can ruin a paint brush or two. The other paint Yriel Yellow which is great for lots of the detail work on your miniatures, especially the Admech and their electronics.
Included in Issue 39 are the Magazine itself, and our second sprue of Kataphron Destroyers. One of these sprues came in issue 32 and the last of the three Kataphron destroyers will come in issue 40. It is worth noting that these models can also be built as Kataphron Breachers for those who prefer.
To store the Kataphron Destroyer we recommend a V2H which can store up to 6. This means this tray would fit all 3 of the Kataphron models that come with the magazine and will also hold the Tech-Priest Dominus, Tech-Priest Enginseer and have room for some other chunky troop models.
If you want to store your paints then look no further than grabbing yourself a KRH with the PNT-PP-B set which gives you space to store 54 pots in an easy to carry case. If you have been collecting at least 1 copy of each issue so far then you will already have 20 brand new paints all in need of somewhere to store or be taken on the road for one of those elusive miniature painting holiday weekends.
If you are also subscribed like us and plan to collect all the magazine issues then please check out our review of issue 1 with a list of trays perfect to hold the entire miniature collection here: here. You can also check out our Imperium TrayGuide here: https://www.krcases.com/trayguide/IMPMAG, for a better look at our trays for the collection. If you also want to store the terrain safely then stay tuned over the next few months as some big scenery is just around the corner and we will let you know how to store these too.
