Boarding Actions in Warhammer 40,00013th Mar 2023
Gamesworkshop recently released a new play style for Warhammer 40,000 called Boarding Actions.
This comes off the back of recent Kill Team releases on the Gallowdark with the new Boarding Actions using the same scenery. GW have bundled several sprues together that previously came in Into the Dark to give exactly the amount needed to play a bigger game.
Boarding Actions differs from regular 40K with a few rules, but mainly list building is reduced to exclude Vehicles, Monsters, flyers etc. Basically, anything big that is normally seen on a battlefield but rarely seen inside the confines of a Space Hulk and its winding corridors.
What is great now though is it has never been easier to transport a 40K army. No need for big cases full of tanks, now simply pick up a KRM with the 58S set and you have enough room for up to 120 models on 32mm bases. That is easily enough space to store two factions for a game, or a variety of a single faction so you have choice on the move.
You could also instead take 3x SM58 trays for 60 models on 32mm bases and 2x SM69 for 20 of the most dynamic models on 40mm bases.
