CAMPAIGN 2025 this weekend6th May 2025
Campaign 2025 returns to thecentre:mk on 10-11 May, once again transforming Middleton Hall into a vibrant showcase of tabletop wargaming. Organised by the National Wargames League, the long-running convention offers a unique mix of tournament play, demonstration and participation games, and traders-all set within one of the UK's busiest shopping centres.
Now in its 24th year at this iconic venue, Campaign aims to promote the wargaming hobby to both enthusiasts and the general public. Situated at the main entrance of John Lewis, the hall benefits from high footfall-up to 100,000 visitors on Saturday-and provides passers-by with free access to the event. Clubs from across the region will be running games for the public to join or observe, offering a hands-on introduction to the hobby.
At the competitive core of the event is the National Wargames League, hosting tournaments across popular systems including DBMM, Flames of War, Field of Glory, and more. The hall's open, well-lit space allows for five-game weekends with time to browse the trade stands, and results feed into the BHGS national rankings.
Campaign's trade hall continues to expand, offering miniatures, rulebooks, terrain, and accessories from a growing list of vendors. The mix of shopping, gaming, and public access makes it one of the most accessible and family-friendly events on the wargaming calendar.
With the support of thecentre:mk management and a dedicated community of organisers, Campaign continues to raise the profile of the hobby. Whether you are a veteran gamer, a newcomer, or just stopping by while shopping, Campaign 2025 welcomes all.
