Warhammer 40K Imperium Magazine Issue 26&27 Review9th Mar 2022
The first issues in March out for Imperium give us our first HQ model for the Adeptus Mechanicus and some new scenery that is not a container. Let us see exactly what these models are and what trays we will need for these new models from Warhammer 40K Imperium issues 26 and 27.
Included in Issue 26 are the Magazine itself, and a Tech Priest Dominus. He features an impressive array of weapons; included is a volkite blaster, a macrostubber, an eradication ray, a phosphor serpenta and a power axe - this is his badge of office, and is detailed with a microphone and loudspeaker.
Included in Issue 27 are the Magazine itself, and our first piece of Haemotrope Reactor Terrain. This sprue has some modularity to it allowing you to assemble the pipes in a few different ways and are compatible with the Promethium Relay pipes.
The Tech Priest Dominus would fit inside the V2H tray which will hold 6 of these models. If you have been following our magazine reviews however you will know we recommended to get 1 of these V2H trays. This tray will hold the Tech Priest Dominus as well as Tech Priest Enginseer and the 3 Kataphron Destroyers that will be coming in future magazines.
To store the Haemotrope Reactor we recommend a V5H. This tray would fit 2 of the reactors if their horizontal pipes were assembled on one end or magnetised, otherwise this tray would fit 1 reactor with plenty of space for pipes and a container.
If you are also subscribed like us and plan to collect all the magazine issues then please check out our review of issue 1 with a list of trays perfect to hold the entire miniature collection here. You can also check out our Imperium TrayGuide here: https://www.krcases.com/trayguide/IMPMAG, for a better look at our trays for the collection. If you also want to store the terrain safely then stay tuned over the next few months as some big scenery is just around the corner and we will let you know how to store these too.
