The new Winter WarBB Tournament results are in!22nd Feb 2017
New Tournament on the block, Winter War Blood Bowl Tournament, attracted a small but fabulous cross section of players to the Dragon's Lair in Austin on Saturday, February 4.
Organised by Two Dice Uphill and sponsored by KR Multicase, the Winter War Tournament intriguingly saw every single player field a team that they had not played before in a NAF Blood Bowl tournament - and the games they played displayed some impressive skills.
John Bach was the overall winner with his Lizardmen team. He scored 391 points and did not allow a single touch down on the day! Coming from Houston, it was his first NAF Blood Bowl tournament and he beat Dean Piper with his Chaos Pact team in 2nd place and Brad Arterbury with Khemri in 3rd.
Nathan Kichline, with his Chaos Pact only allowed four casualties against him, and by doing such a great job, picked up the Defence Award, while Brad Arterbury also walked away with the Fluffer Award for the Best Team Fluff - he named all his players and was judged to have put the most effort in.
In an after event online poll, each player ranked their 'Most Worthy Opponent' and unusually overall winner John Bach received the highest vote.
"This is amazing, because everyone enjoyed getting beaten by John!" exclaimed organiser & Two Dice Uphill podcaster Darren Olson, who confirmed in the latest Two Dice Uphill episode just what a great time everyone had at Winter War.
According to Darren, the KR Multicase prizes went down a storm with everyone. KR Multicase sent the Two Dice Uphill organisers prizes of an Aquilla4 case plus two BB1 trays and 2 M4H trays; an Aquilla2 case with M4T tray and an Aquilla1 case with M4H tray. They were well worth fighting for and the well-deserving winners were more than chuffed to take home their brilliant KR products as their reward for a terrific day on the pitch.
