With just two weeks left until the event takes place at the Excel London on April 13th, gamers are busy finalizing their plans and making preparations for the day.
Presented by the South London Warlords, Salute 51 2024 emerges as Europe's largest independent one-day wargaming and hobbying event. This iteration embraces the theme of Pirates, spanning from intergalactic grog-drinkers to salty sea dogs and daring adventurers.
With over 130 UK and International traders converging at ExCel London, along with more than 100 captivating demonstration and participation games within our Game Zones, attendees are poised for an immersive experience. Authentic swordfighting swashbucklers and pirates will traverse the ExCel centre, enriching the ambiance as patrons explore the myriad offerings of Salute.
The first 6000 guests will be greeted with the renowned and exclusive Goody Bag, featuring this year's unique Salute 51 themed miniature alongside an assortment of other delights.
The event boasts a world-class Painting Competition showcasing awe-inspiring entries adjudicated by esteemed special guest judges, with new, prestigious, and thematic trophies up for grabs.
Hobby Heroes, the celebrity panels show, makes a triumphant return, affording enthusiasts the opportunity to interact with the creators of beloved games and glean insights from renowned painters, hobbyists, historians, and wargamers.
Attendees can also immerse themselves in the Live "Paint It Yourself" Zone, The Too Fat Lardies Games Zone, Wargaming Workshops, Learn-to-Plays, and a plethora of new games to sample. Throughout the day, there will be ample chances to win prizes.
